Welcome to my Web! I am S.Prasanna,
currently working for
Sun Microsystems, Inc, California,
USA.
My general
interests are Computer Networks (yes "
The
Network is the Computer", no doubt about it), Security, Python,
etc, etc. I love to hack
around Google a lot, because one can really
uncover
a lot of hidden truths from it. Hats off for such a massive and
powerful engine.
My objective is to share everything I learn with others and I want my
site to have some
deeds
of a Great Web Site and it will definitely not be a
Hell as
described by
Eric. These days
I don't update much in my home page although I will continue to do so
in future, do check my official
blog
where I write regularly, probably will post useful contents from it in
my web in future.
My ultimate destiny is to become a good hacker
(read how to become one
here). I
admire the open source community and I am a great fan of
Python (explains partly the logic
behind the name of this site), and its java counterpart
namely
JPython (Thanks to
Eric's article
about Python). During my spare time I dig deep into these
innovative languages (Fortunately for me Jython came to the rescue when
I was once struggling with moving things in Java). In short I love to
solve
interesting problems (The biggest challenge in problem solving is
finding the
right and interesting problem to solve), exploring new things and
master as many languages (good hacking languages) and
technologies as possible which will help me in different ways to
overcome technical challenges.
Other than technical interests, I am a keen follower of
National
Geographic channel (especially Nat Geo investigates) following
which my skepticism towards flying increased. (Read more
details). You can learn more

Just to say a few words about me I was born on March 1981 and did my
undergraduate in Computer Science and Engineering in University of
Madras and my Masters in College of Engineering,
Anna University,
Chennai, India. Besides Computers I am an ardent fan of cricket and my
favorite
cricketers are
VVS
Laxman (Please allow him to play ODI), Rahul Dravid (The
Wall),
Steve
Waugh,
Prince
of Calcutta,
Anil
Kumble
(Perfect 10), Little Master
Sachin,
Yuvraj Singh,
etc. I like umpiring and also hearing good commentaries (rare these
days) from Rameez Raja, Ian
Chappel, Tony Greig, Micheal Holding, etc. My best World XI can be
found
here.
I like collecting inspiring quotes and thoughts. Some of the quotes
which I had collected can be found
here.
